How to Get Started

Set Up:

On Your iPhone:  

  1. Open the Wallet app. 

  1. Tap (+) in the upper right corner. 

  1. Follow the onscreen instructions to add your TCU Financial Group Debit Card. 

On Your Apple Watch: 

  1. Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone. 

  1. Go to the My Watch tab. If you have multiple watches, choose one. 

  1. Tap Wallet & Apple Pay and select Add Credit or Debit Card. 

  1. Follow the onscreen instructions to add your TCU Financial Group Debit Card. 

Paying with Apple Pay:
  • iPhone 8 or earlier with touch ID: rest your finger or thumb on the home button and hold the top of your iPhone within a few centimeters of the contactless reader.
  • iPhone X or newer: Double-click the side button, then glance at the phone to authenticate with Face ID or enter your passcode.
  • Apple Watch: Double-click the side button and hold the display of your watch within a few centimeters of the contactless reader.
Where to use:
Apple Pay using your TCU Financial Group Debit Card works wherever Interac® Flash is accepted. Just look for the Interac® Flash logo or contactless symbol at the checkout. Some stores will also display the Apple Pay logo. 

Set Up:

On Your Smartphone: 

  1. Download Google Wallet from the Google Play Store. 

  1. Open the Google Wallet app. 

  1. Tap the (+) sign. 

  1. Follow the on-screen instructions to add your TCU Financial Group Debit Card.

On Your Wearable: 

  1. Open Google Wallet on the watch. 

  1. Tap (+) to Add Card to choose from cards on your phone. 

  1. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete setup. 

Paying with Google Pay:
  • With your Smartphone: unlock your phone and hold your phone over the terminal until you see a blue checkmark on the screen.
  • With your Wearable: open the Google Wallet app on your watch, hold your watch over the contactless payment terminal until you hear a sound or feel vibration from your watch.
Where to use:
Google Pay using your TCU Financial Group Debit Card works wherever Interac® Flash is accepted. Just look for the Interac® Flash logo or contactless symbol at the checkout. Some stores will also display the Google Pay logo. 
Set Up:
Samsung Pay is supported on all Samsung smartphones since the release of Samsung Galaxy S6 and Note A5.

Samsung Pay comes pre-installed on most recent Samsung phones. If you don't have the app, you can download it from the Google Play store. You’ll need to sign in to your Samsung account to use Samsung Pay.
  1. Open Samsung Pay and register your Samsung Pay PIN.
  2. Follow on screen instructions to add your TCU Financial Group Member Card® Debit Card and then select your preferred method to verify the card.
  3. Select your security or authentication option. 
Paying with Samsung Pay:
To make a payment with your Samsung smartphone:
  1. From the lock screen, swipe up from the home button or open the Samsung Pay app.
  2. Select your TCU Financial Group Debit card and authorize the payment using your PIN, fingerprint, or iris scan.
  3. Hold your phone over the payment terminal to complete your transaction.
Where to use:
You can use your TCU Financial Group Debit Card using Samsung Pay in store with supported devices wherever contactless payments are accepted.
