Rewarding Exceptional Students in Our Community

As a Saskatchewan credit union, we have helped many young people obtain the financial support they need to complete their post-secondary studies. We created the TCU Financial Group Scholarship Program to further our support by rewarding exceptional students who have contributed to making our communities better.

The 2021 TCU Financial Group Scholarship Program will award a total of $10,000 to eight successful recipients, including four $2,000 scholarships and four $500 scholarships.

To apply, candidates must provide the following by email to before June 30, 2021, at 5:00pm CST:

  1. Tell us about yourself in your email:
    • Name and contact information (include phone and email address)
    • The high school that you are graduating from
    • Post-secondary school that you will be attending in the fall
    • Interesting facts about yourself (max. 200 characters)
    • Volunteer activities /community organizations you support (max. 200 characters)
    • Extra-curricular activities (max. 200 characters)
    • How will this scholarship benefit you (max. 200 characters)
  2.  Official high school transcript of marks (PDF)
  3.  Proof of enrolment to a post-secondary educational institution (PDF)
  4.  Presentation or written submission (via link on YouTube, Google Drive, etc.) answering the following:
    • What inspires you?
    • How has your community helped shape you?
    • What do you hope to achieve in your career?
    • Where do you see yourself in five years?
    • How can TCU Financial Group help you achieve your goals?


The TCU Financial Group Scholarship Program is open to all Grade 12 students attending any Regina or Saskatoon (or surrounding area) High School who are pursuing post-secondary education for a minimum of one year full time studies. The criteria listed above must be provided in order to meet eligibility requirements.

Deadline to apply

Completed applications including all of the items listed above need to be emailed to by 5:00pm CST on June 30, 2021.

Tips to help you succeed

  • Make sure your response includes all of the required information listed above.
  • Provide your presentation on an easy-to-view platform that is easily accessible, such as a link to a video on YouTube, or a PDF on Google Drive.
  • Ensure your presentation is easy to read or navigate, that it’s not too long (or short), and most importantly, that it covers all of the required information.
  • Your creativity and effort will be noticed so try to highlight your skills in a unique way that can help you stand out.
  • If you have a special community organization or volunteer work that is close to your heart, make sure to tell us about what makes it special to you.
  • Have fun with it! Make your submission authentic and make sure it reflects your personality.
