An extension of your RRSP. Variable and Fixed Rate investment options available. Receive
payments from your RRIF on a schedule that suits your needs.

Prescribed Registered
Retirement Income Fund (PRRIF)
A PRRIF is a retirement income fund from which life income may be received. The original
source of funds is a locked-in registered pension plan under Saskatchewan jurisdiction.
When moving to this form of RRIF, you may determine your own level of income without the
withdrawal limit restrictions imposed on other pension funded plans. If you have a spouse
or common law partner, their consent must be given before funds can be accepted in a
PRRIF.

Life Income Fund (LIF)
A LIF is a retirement income fund from which life income may be received. The original
source of funds in this account is from an eligible locked-in registered pension plan. A
LIF is registered and set up as an RRIF, but contains additional agreements with regards
to payments, etc. Certain age restrictions to apply to a LIF.
